More than twenty years Aliya Temirbekova works in KNOBT after Abay as the chorus master.
2008 - present - Chief Chorus Master of the theatre.
Aliya Temirbekova has made the significant contribution to development of opera art of Kazakhstan. For the last 20 years, she has prepared all choral repertoire of performances of the Kazakh, Russian, Western European composers. The creative maturity of the chorus master and her bright organizing abilities have brought choral collective to the new professional level allowing to compete with the best choral staff of opera theaters of the world.
